Finally getting around to posting some things from our visit to Chicago June 18-July 7, 2017. Carolyn was taking three weeks of classes at the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago in Hyde Park, just north of the University of Chicago campus. I (Dave) was exploring and experiencing the neighborhood and the city. I walked around the neighborhood, walked to the lake most every day, toured a couple of Frank Lloyd Wright’s architectural wonders around Chicago, and cooked and cleaned for the student, Carolyn. She loved her classes, and I loved everything I did there! Carolyn is done with classes now, looking forward to two more formal sermons for class and that whole thesis thing. We finally got to go to Adler Planetarium, and the Dusable Museum, too! Kilwins is a great place for ice cream in Hyde Park. It was amazing! Here are some photos from our visit!
